Pottery Wheel Throwing Classes for Adults
ADULT WHEEL THROWING CLASSES
Wheel throwing classes for adults is our specialty. Classes are four weeks long on Monday and Wednesday evenings 6 pm to 9 pm. We provide excellent demonstrations on how to prepare and "throw" clay on a potter's wheel. We help you achieve results much faster than you would trying to learn on your own.
Our classes are typically 4 weeks long, twice a week, for 3 hours on Mon and Wed nights.
We demonstrate wedging, centering, and 3 typical projects: Bowls, Cylinders, & Handles (mugs with handles). Advance projects include plates, jars with lids, chips/dip platters, larger pieces, colanders, casseroles, and whatever else you want to try.
To be officially listed as attending in a class, full payment is required. Sign up and purchase your spot in a class at ClayArtSpace.com
Then fill out a registration form and Liability Release Waiver at the studio on the first night of class.
Class fees include the first bag of clay (25 lbs) to use in class and fees cover the costs of up to 10 finished pieces of approximately 4"x4"x4" in size. Extra fees will be applied for oversize and more than 10 pieces per month. There is no guarantee that you will create 10 pieces in your first month.
